No Daybreak for Twilight Lovebirds Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart

Rumors of a split between Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been greatly exaggerated.

The superstar couple – who have been mainstays of the celebrity gossip mill since the debut of the Twilight Saga in 2008 – have recently been the subject of breakup rumors spread by the Mirror.

An April 4 column in the notorious English daily indicated that the romance had been cooling between the famed lovers since February. Speculations were fueled by Robert Pattinson’s recent costarring turn with Reese Witherspoon in the romantic drama “Water for Elephants.” The recently remarried Witherspoon (34) leaked innuendos to the press suggesting an off-screen chemistry between herself and the Twilight heartthrob, but only in jest.

Sources closer to Pattinson and Stewart have since stepped forth to rubbish the Mirror’s claims, stating that the two are so much in love that they practically share their own language with one another.

Reports from the set of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – the upcoming fourth and final installment in the series – indicate that the passion between Pattinson and Stewart while filming has been unmistakably real. On April 22, the cast and crew were down in the U.S. Virgin Islands to reshoot love scenes for the movie, and the costars obligingly did take after multiple take while passionately frolicking in the water.

Robert Pattinson (24) and Kristen Stewart (21) first met when the two were cast for the debut installment of the Twilight Saga back in 2007. As the Twilight franchise exploded during 2008 and 2009, a flurry of attention surrounding the costars personal lives ensued. Pattinson and Stewart remained discreet about the nature of their off-screen status as a couple, which further fueled gossip throughout the media and blogosphere.

Pattinson has since endured himself to young women around the world through the romantic sentiments he’s shared in interviews. He recently told a reporter that he could never have sex without feeling love for someone, because sex and emotion are inseparable to him.
